Public Health
Humanities
In this track, students can experience what it’s like to be a public health scientist, whose job it is to explore how diseases, living and working conditions, eating habits, human behavior, and the healthcare system impact population health. These experts analyze data, identify risk factors, evaluate the quality of information, and gauge which strategies are actually effective. The field of public health sciences unites people from diverse fields: these are epidemiologists, data analysts, economists, sociologists, and physicians. Each specialist contributes to the field in their own way: from building statistical models and calculating intervention efficiency to studying the social determinants of diseases, developing prevention strategies, and managing healthcare projects.
